The CT Technologist at Cobb Hospital, part of Wellstar, delivers high-quality imaging and supports a compassionate patient experience. You will perform CT procedures per department guidelines, operate imaging equipment safely, and use ALARA principles to minimize dose.

Collaboration with the radiology team ensures accurate exams and timely results. Required is a completed accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT CT certification, with at least 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT CT certification preferred; BLS may be required.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain image quality.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize patient dose and exposure.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms and equipment per infection-control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and document findings in RIS/PACS.
• Support department workflow and assist with equipment readiness.
