Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure accuracy, and maintain ALARA principles while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.

The role requires ARRT CT certification and radiography experience, BLS, and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Day shifts available; Wellstar promotes education and patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department guidelines to obtain diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose levels.
• Ensure room and equipment are clean and disinfected per infection control schedules.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and document studies in RIS/PACS.
