Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality with ALARA principles.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Disinfect and prepare rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly using AIDET; reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Complete documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers and prior exam retrieval as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock crash cart and life-support equipment as required.
• Organize daily workflows to meet timelines and support department flow.
