Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. The role emphasizes safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout CT procedures at Cobb Hospital in Georgia.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and a minimum of one year radiology experience. BLS is required, with a focus on ALARA and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• Certification in Radiography and CT equipment operation required (ARRT-R/ARRT-CT).
• Current BLS certification and ability to perform imaging procedures safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain ALARA standard.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Prepare patients, screen histories, and explain procedures clearly using AIDET.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and document in RIS/PACS accurately.
• Maintain room cleanliness, stock supplies, and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Support workflow to ensure timely exams and patient comfort.
