Job summary

The Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and deliver high-quality imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will work within the Radiology department as part of a collaborative care team.

The role requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, a Radiologic Technology program, and at least one year of radiology experience. You will operate imaging equipment, follow ALARA principles, document results in RIS/PACS, and support department

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, plus BLS.

Responsibilities

Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and acquire quality diagnostic images.
Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA, adjusting techniques as needed.
Disinfect, clean, and restock rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
Explain procedures with AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
Review images for diagnostic quality and release patients appropriately.
Document studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; support department workflow.
