Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care at Cobb Hospital in Georgia. You will work within a collaborative radiology team, performing CT procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout each exam.

Required qualifications include ARRT credentials in Radiography and CT, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. The position offers a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and minimize radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Obtain clinical history, screen for contraindications, verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout the visit.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/retrievals as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies; restock equipment and maintain rooms.
