Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT exams, adjust techniques to balance diagnostic quality with patient safety, and document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS.

The role requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications and at least 1 year of radiology experience, plus BLS. Join a collaborative radiology team that values safety, education, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and two unique patient identifiers before any exam.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly using AIDET; address questions.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care throughout the visit.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; correct or repeat as needed.
• Complete timely documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
