Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a compassionate patient experience. You will perform CT exams, uphold ALARA principles, and collaborate with a skilled care team to support efficient department operations.

Required: ARRT-R/CT, Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year in Radiology. You will document studies in RIS/PACS, assist with contrast, and maintain patient safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose levels.
• Explain procedures to patients, prepare them, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Document exams accurately in RIS/PACS and handle transfers when needed.
• Support daily workflows and maintain orderly, compliant imaging rooms.
