Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience within a collaborative radiology team. You will perform CT procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging standards while coordinating with technologists across modalities.

The ideal candidate brings ARRT‑R and ARRT‑CT credentials, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience required.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines to capture quality images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA principles.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure understanding.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and report any issues promptly.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS and coordinate transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies and crash cart readiness.
