Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality CT imaging and provide a supportive patient experience. You will work within a collaborative radiology team to ensure exam accuracy, patient safety, and timely study completion.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, minimum 1 year radiology experience, and ARRT‑R/ARRT‑CT with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology is required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography, BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and apply ALARA principles.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and apply two patient identifiers before exams.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and complete documentation in RIS/PACS.
