Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, deliver high-quality imaging, and provide a supportive patient experience. You will work with a collaborative care team, ensure patient safety, and adhere to ALARA principles.

Applicants should have ARRT radiography and CT certifications, a radiologic technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience; strong communication using AIDET is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-CT certification and ARRT-R (Radiography) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and post-care using AIDET; address patient questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol with venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Organize daily workflows to support department flow and compliance.
