Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and deliver high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will work within a collaborative radiology team, following ALARA principles, and participate in documenting and finalizing studies in RIS/PACS.

You should have ARRT certifications (Radiography and CT) and an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required. BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and assist in emergencies; restock life-support equipment as needed.
