Job summary

A sign-on bonus of up to $30,000 is available for eligible candidates. The ideal candidate will have ARRT CT certification, BLS, and experience with CT equipment and radiology information systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT RT/ radiography and/or CT certification required.
• Advanced CT certification within two years of employment.
• BLS from American Heart Association required.
• Clinical CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to assure accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Independently operates imaging equipment to complete procedure.
• Reviews patient images prior to transmission for diagnostic quality.
• Performs timely quality control procedures per regulatory standards.
• Assists in departmental operations (inventory, schedules, etc.).
• Adapts communication and care to the patient population and privacy.
• Other related duties as required.
