Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program is required.
• ARRT CT certification or registry eligibility and state license are required or pending within 90 days of employment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong knowledge of CT procedures and cardiac anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician orders and procedural details to ensure accuracy.
• Operates radiology equipment to complete imaging procedures per protocol.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Maintains quality control and complies with regulatory standards.
• Supports departmental operations (inventory, schedules, equipment maintenance).
• Adapts communication and approach to different patient populations.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
