Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT radiography (R) and NMTCB certification required or equivalent.
• Current unrestricted license in state of practice.
• Advanced CT certification within 2 years of employment.
• Clinical CT experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to assure accuracy.
• Operates imaging equipment to complete procedures per protocol.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Reviews patient images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Assists in departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance).
• Adapts communication and approach to individual patient needs and privacy considerations.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Other related duties as required.
