Job summary

Ochsner Health in Bay St. Louis, MS is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform routine CT procedures, verify orders, and support patient care in a fast-paced imaging department.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, BLS, and CT experience; advanced CT certification within two years is preferred. Sign-on bonus up to $30,000 is available to eligible candidates. Ochsner Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT CT certification and/OR NMTCB CNMT and/or unrestricted state license documented.
• Advanced CT certification within two years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Verify physician order and procedure to assure accuracy.
• Operate CT equipment to complete imaging per protocol.
• Explain procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Review patient images prior to transmission to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Complete timely quality control procedures and support departmental operations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism.
