Job summary

UAB Medicine is expanding its Emergency Department and seeks CT technologists to perform CT scans under radiologist supervision with independence in technique and judgment. You will work in a high-volume environment within Alabama’s leading trauma center.

The role supports a major ED expansion, with advanced CT equipment and a focus on efficient teleadmission processes, requiring ARRT RT certification and CT credentialing within the first year.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology required.
• Currently RT (R) registered with ARRT; CT certification within 1 year.
• If not CT certified within 1 year, extended period may be allowed.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision.
• Apply independent judgment to render prescribed CT procedures.
