Job summary

UAB Medicine is expanding its Emergency Department and hiring CT technologists to support a major expansion at UAB Hospital, Alabama’s premier Level I trauma center. You will perform CT procedures under supervision, with access to advanced equipment including CT, X-ray, and echo ultrasound, in a high-volume environment.

The role requires ARRt/R radiologic qualifications or NMTCB certification, BLS, and CT designation within 1 year. Start date may range up to August 2026 as projects progress.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Radiography program accredited by ARRT.
• One year of general radiography experience preferred.
• Must be ARRT-registered or NMTCB-certified (NMT).
• Must obtain CT designation within 1 year of hire.
• BLS from AHA required or obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures under radiologist and CT supervisor guidance.
• Execute diverse CT procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.
