Job summary

UAB Medicine is expanding its Emergency Department and is hiring CT technologists to support the new CT suite. You will perform CT procedures under the supervision of a radiologist and CT supervisor, applying independent judgment to deliver prescribed CT imaging.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT RT certification or NMTCB certification, with BLS required within 30 days. This full-time role offers shifts including nights and weekends in Alabama’s premier trauma center.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Radiography program accredited by ARRT or NMTCB-acceptable mechanism.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures under the direction of a radiologist and CT supervisor.
• Provide procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to render prescribed CT procedures.

Education

ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification

NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification
