Job summary

UAB Medicine is expanding its Emergency Department and seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures under radiologist supervision. You will contribute to a fast-paced, high-volume ED with advanced CT equipment and dedicated teleadmission workflows.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT CT imaging certification (or obtain within 1 year) and are a trained radiologic technologist with up-to-date ARRT RT licensing, ready to work in Alabama's premier trauma center environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology required.
• Currently registered as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) (R) with ARRT.
• Must obtain Computed Tomography (CT) registration with ARRT within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision.
• Carry out CT protocols with independent judgment and initiative.
• Collaborate with radiologist and CT supervisor to render prescribed CT procedures.
