Job summary

UAB Medicine is expanding its Emergency Department imaging services and seeking a CT Technologist. You will perform CT procedures under a radiologist and CT supervisor, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiography program, ARRT or NMTCB certification, and BLS. Full-time roles with varied shifts support a fast-paced trauma center environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT- or NMTCB-recognized radiography program.
• Current ARRT(R) registration or NMTCB certification required or within hire date to obtain CT designation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures under radiologist supervision with independent judgment.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure image quality and patient safety.
• Adhere to clinical protocols and documentation standards.
