Job summary

UAB Medicine is expanding its Emergency Department CT capabilities. You will perform CT procedures under a radiologist's supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety while applying independent judgment in prescribed exams.

We value candidates with ARRT/NMTCB certification and radiography experience; BLS is required or obtained within 30 days of employment. Full-time shifts include AM/PM and weekends, with 7a-7p or 7p-7a schedules.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT-accepted Radiography program.
• 1 year general radiography experience preferred.
• Must be ARRT (R) or NMTCB certified; CT within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Render prescribed CT exams with independent judgment.
• Prioritize patient safety and image quality.
