Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT scanning and assist with CT-guided procedures for trauma, stroke, cancer, and other patients in a busy Level One Trauma Center. You will work with nurses, physicians, and therapists to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care.

The role requires ARRT CT credential or progress toward it within a year, an active Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of CT scanning procedures.
• Produces quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures (biopsies, drain placements, tumor ablations).
• Schedules patients for inpatients and outpatients and educates them about procedures.
