Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. The role involves producing quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for both inpatients and outpatients.

Required credentials include ARRT registration, Ohio Radiographer license, and BLS certification, with a CT credential expected within one year. The position supports cross-training and a collaborative care environment at MetroHealth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements and tumor ablations.
• Schedule and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination procedures.
• Display critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Work independently and as part of the CT Team.
