Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. You will produce high-quality CT images, support CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatient and outpatient services within a Level One Trauma Center setting.

The role emphasizes anatomy knowledge, patient education, and clear communication while working across nurses, physicians, and other care team members. Cross-training is available, and a sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images across a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT Team.
