Job summary

MetroHealth's Radiology Department seeks a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images and support CT-guided procedures. You will collaborate with Nurses, Physicians, and other care team members, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

The role involves scheduling, patient education, and handling stressful situations with minimal supervision. Eligible applicants may receive a sign-on bonus and cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
