Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to join the team performing high-quality CT imaging and supporting CT-guided procedures for trauma, stroke, cancer, and other patients. The role requires ARRT CT credential, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification.

Cross-training and a 4x10 schedule are available, with a sign-on bonus for external applicants. You will work with CT staff, nurses, physicians, and other care team members to ensure safe, efficient patient care in a busy

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT registered Radiology Technologist with CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment to ensure comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
