Job summary

Join the MetroHealth Radiology Department as a CT Technologist. Perform CT imaging across diverse patient groups, assist in CT-guided procedures, and coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Educate patients on procedures, ensure comfort, and work both independently and as part of a collaborative CT team. Requirements include ARRT registration, CT credential (or within 1 year), Ohio radiographer license, and Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in various settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Schedule inpatients and outpatients for imaging procedures.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Communicate effectively under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
