Job summary

MetroHealth’s Radiology Department is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures for trauma, stroke, cancer, and other patients. The role collaborates with nurses, physicians, and care teams to deliver patient-centered imaging services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Operate CT equipment and collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff within MetroHealth policies.
