Job summary

MetroHealth’s Radiology Department is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners and assist radiologists in imaging and procedures. You will contribute to scheduling, patient education, and ensuring safety during CT-guided procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited Radiologic Technology degree, ARRT CT credential (or obtain within a year), and an Ohio Radiographer license; BLS certification is required or obtained during probation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanning equipment for diagnostic imaging.
• Assist radiologists and nursing staff during procedures.
• Provide patient scheduling and coordination for CT services.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in CT operations.
• Cross-train and support CT team as needed.
