Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. You'll produce CT images across neuro, MSK, abdominothoracic, and cardiac modalities, and assist with CT-guided procedures.

You will coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients and educate patients to ensure comfort and understanding. The role requires ARRT credentials or pending CT certification, Ohio licensure, and BLS; cross-training and collaboration with nurses and physicians are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images across neuro, MSK, abdominothoracic, and cardiac studies.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Manage patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Collaborate with CT staff, nurses, physicians, and other care-team members.
