Job summary

MetroHealth radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT team in Cleveland. The role includes producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients. You must have ARRT certification, an Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification, with cross-training available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Exercise on-the-spot critical thinking and communicate effectively with the CT team.
