Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center radiology department seeks a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures. The role requires patient education, scheduling coordination, and strong critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.

You will join the CT team in a setting focused on trauma, stroke, oncology and underserved populations in Northeast Ohio, with cross-functional collaboration with nurses and physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking.
• Maintains effective communication and works well under stress.
