Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. The role provides cross-functional exposure to neuro, MSK, abdominothoracic and cardiac imaging, with responsibilities spanning image acquisition, patient education, and coordination of CT-guided procedures.

Requirements include ARRT CT credential (or obtaining within one year), Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality CT images across neuro, MSK, abdominothoracic and cardiac regions.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and examination to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Maintain effective communication with radiology staff and care team.
• Work independently and as part of the CT team, under supervision as needed.
