Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures in a busy hospital setting.

The role includes patient education, scheduling coordination, and collaboration with nurses, physicians, and radiologists. Requires ARRT certification, CT credential within 12 months, and Ohio licensure. Shift: Days/Evenings on 4x10hr schedule, with cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• On-call and scheduling support for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Demonstrate effective communication and work well under stress.
• Collaborate with CT team, nurses, physicians, and other care team members.
