Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures for diverse patient populations in Northeast Ohio.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT-registered with CT credential or able to obtain within a year, and hold a valid Ohio Radiographer License. BLS certification or completion is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Communicate effectively and work with CT team under stress and with minimal supervision.
