Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department at MetroHealth Medical Center in Northeast Ohio. You will perform CT procedures, produce high-quality images, and support CT-guided interventions in a busy Level One Trauma center.

Required qualifications include ARRT registration, Ohio Radiographer license, and CT credential (or eligibility within one year). The role offers cross-training, opportunities to work with advanced scanners, and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT and CT credential (or eligible within 1 year).
• Active Ohio Radiographer License and BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients; ensure patient comfort and understanding of procedures.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and reduce anxiety.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other care team members to deliver optimal care.
