Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department in the Greater Cleveland area seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging, support CT-guided procedures, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and therapists. The role requires ARRT CT credential, Ohio Radiographer License, BLS, and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.

Cross-training is available; external applicants may receive a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Schedule and coordinate for inpatients and outpatients.
• Collaborate with Nurses, Physicians, and other care team members.
• Respond to needs with effective communication and under minimal supervision.
