Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland's radiology department is seeking a CT Technologist to join a busy CT team. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with biopsies and tumor ablations, and help with CT-guided procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT CT credential, Ohio license, BLS, and the ability to work days and evenings on a 4x10 schedule with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces CT images of high quality across a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Schedules and coordinates CT patients (inpatients and outpatients).
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Performs DSA procedures with critical thinking and under supervision as needed.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
