Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient flow for inpatients and outpatients.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT certification, CT credential (or within 1 year), OH radiographer license, and BLS. Cross-training and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works well both independently and as part of the CT Team.
