Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department in Cleveland, OH is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures, with day/evening shifts on a 4x10hr schedule. Responsibilities include scheduling, patient education, and teamwork with nurses, physicians, and therapists.

Candidate must be a ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with CT credential or obtain within one year, hold an Ohio Radiographer License, and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or to obtain within probation.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment to maintain understanding.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Demonstrate effective communication and work with the CT team under supervision.
