MetroHealth radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to provide high-quality CT imaging and assist with CT-guided procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will educate patients, coordinate inpatient and outpatient scheduling, and collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and other care team members.

Required qualifications include ARRT registration and Ohio radiography license, with CT credential within one year; BLS certification or within probation. Cross-training is offered.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT (ARRT)
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsabilidades

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• On-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
