Job summary

Join the MetroHealth Radiology Department as a CT Technologist. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Manages patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Liaises with CT staff, nurses, physicians, and other care team members to ensure patient care.
• Works independently and as part of the CT team.
