Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Cross-training is available and the position supports a 4x10 schedule (1:00 PM–11:30 PM) with call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-registered with CT credential (or

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within 1 year of employment.
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Schedule and coordinate for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment and examinations to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Exercise on-the-spot critical thinking.
• Communicate effectively and work under supervision or independently as CT team requires.
• Collaborate with CT staff, Nurses, Physicians and other care team members.
