Job summary

MetroHealth is inviting applications for a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Ohio. The role emphasizes producing high-quality CT images and assisting with CT-guided procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include patient scheduling, education, and collaboration with nurses, physicians, and other care team members. The position offers a 4x10 hour shift schedule with day/evening hours and a biweekly 80-hour workload, plus a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• On-the-spot critical thinking and decision making.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
