Job summary

MetroHealth in the Greater Cleveland area is hiring a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images, assist radiologists, and coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients within the CT team.

Required qualifications include ARRT CT credential (or within one year), Ohio Radiographer License, and BLS. Cross-training in trauma settings is available, with opportunity to grow through tuition reimbursement and certification incentives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Communicate effectively and work under stress with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with CT staff, Nurses, Physicians, Respiratory Therapists and other care team members.
