Job summary

Join the Radiology Department at MetroHealth as a CT Technologist. The role involves producing CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient flow for inpatients and outpatients in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include ARRT registration, Ohio radiographer license, and CT credential (or within 1 year). A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.
• One year related experience, and ARRT CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in various settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Cross train and function well under supervision or independently within the CT team.
