Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. You will produce quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The role requires ARRT registration, Ohio Radiographer License, and BLS certification, with sign-on incentives for external applicants. You will collaborate with nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination.
• On the spot critical thinking.
• Effective communication skills.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT Team.
