Job summary

MetroHealth’s Radiology Department in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team. The role involves producing CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT registration and an Ohio Radiographer license, with ARRT CT credential or plan to obtain within one year. AHA BLS certification is required or obtained during probation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assisting with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• On the spot critical thinking.
• Effective communication skills.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works well both independently and as part of the CT Team.
