Job summary

Join our Radiology Department at MetroHealth! We are seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging, assist with guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

You will educate patients about procedures, communicate effectively with nurses and physicians, and adapt to high-stress situations while working both independently and as part of the CT team. Cross-training opportunities and a supportive environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination.
• Maintain effective communication with care teams under stress.
• Work independently and as part of the CT team.
